Description We are on the lookout for an experienced Product Strategy & Development Director to join our team in the health insurance industry, based in Parsippany, New Jersey. As a Product Strategy & Development Director, you will be expected to coordinate and manage various tasks associated with product development, management, strategy, and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product delivery and maintain compliance with federal health care reform for public exchanges.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee product development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered within the stipulated timeframe and budget
• Collaborate effectively with enterprise-wide teams for product development projects, including representatives from Marketing, Sales, Provider Relations, Legal, Actuarial/Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, and Information Services
• Conduct comprehensive research on market, product, economic, and competitor data using public sources and relationships
• Assist in managing day-to-day contact with external product delivery partners and vendors for issue resolution, RFPs, and communication pieces
• Support sales and proposal processes, generate provider network comparisons, and manage annual ACA recertification
• Organize and analyze contract information and data for product specifications
• Maintain regular contact with federal and state agencies managing public exchanges
• Support go-to-market activities and product releases, and ensure compliance with federal health care reform for public exchanges
• Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports for new and existing products, and support the preparation of product informational and training presentations
• Stay updated on industry and product trends. Requirements • Minimum 7 years of experience in a related role within the health insurance industry
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Cloud Technologies
• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Demonstrated experience in using 'About Time' software for project management
• Proven track record in conducting successful AB Testing
• Experience in creating and enhancing Brand Awareness
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and financial planning
• Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to develop and implement product strategies
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide a team
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Innovation starts with people.®
