Experience what’s next at Avnet! **Job Summary:** Responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize sales and ensure long-term profitability objectives are met. Oversees the operation of pricing and pricing team to ensure quality and level of services meet business needs **Principal Responsibilities:** Develops and maintains competitive pricing databases designed to monitor changes and their impact on the company. Defines, develops, evaluates and oversees the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize margin. **Job Level Specifications:** + Responsible for pricing accuracy and competitiveness of pre/post sales processes. + Oversees the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization. + Executes pricing strategic direction to ensure high quality data, analytics, systems and processes to optimize performance, define pricing agreements, and organizational results. + Responsible for the pricing function, cross departmental projects/process improvements, and shipment compliance. + Involved with negotiating pricing strategies with suppliers. + Drives improvements in processes, procedures, systems, tools, team structure and supplier/partner relationships. + Manages the product pricing information management system including workflows, interfaces, catalogue browse and taxonomy functionality. + Manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs including training a high performance team. + Other duties as assigned. + Leads and coaches and manage team. + Conducting one on one with team + Performance to KPIs quarterly + Annual review process + Discuss higher level supplier strategy performance. + Coordination of supplier trainings. + Build Internal and external stakeholder relationships. + Drives continuous automation improvement. + Monitor supplier margin levels. + Collaborate supplier policy changes and pricing updates. + High level Escalation. + Manages experienced, professional employees and/or supervisors; and/or manages large, complex technical and/or business support teams. Accountable for the performance and results of a team and/or department. + Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team/department. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to budget development and performance standards of department and direct reports. + Assignments are defined in the form of objectives. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, business plans and independent judgment. + Collaborates with team(s), customers/ clients, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives. + Decisions may have impact on work processes and outcomes.
