Primary Responsibilities
Prevent/reduce warranty claims and minimize the Company's overall warranty expense and improve customer satisfaction by decreasing customer cost of ownership. Will be responsible to facilitate Product Team warranty reduction activities, perform root cause analysis, recommend process/product changes, monitor warranty trends, drive action on cross-product warranty issues, review warranty claim information and standardize/improve the warranty resolution processes. Establish and report on warranty key performance indicators. Gather voice of customer product data and use it to drive activity across multiple departments.
Qualifications
This position requires a four-year college degree plus 4 years’ experience. Experience with sensitive customer interface required as well as problem solving skills and project management experience. Strong, influential presentation and communication skills are required. Ability to work/collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional groups is required. Mechanical aptitude: ability to learn technical aspects of product is required. Excellent computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and presentation development in Microsoft PowerPoint required. Business Process Development: Experience in developing and mapping new business processes highly desired. ASQ (or equivalent) Certified Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer and/or Six Sigma Greenbelt desired. This position requires an individual with the flexibility to commute to, and work at various Company and supplier locations (less than 25% travel per year.)
