Product Support Specialist
Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Main tasks and responsibilities: The Product Support Specialist (PSS) is the main contact for cross-divisional alignments on configuration tools and pricing. The role collaborates closely with peers in other Product Inspection SBUs and with divisional staff. The role is critical to ensure a harmonized configuration process as well as regular price increases.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Configuration Tools

Develop a PI-wide, harmonized configurator with a common platform for all SBUs across PI Harmonize the design, functional features and technical parameters Coordinate the testing phase Document current and upcoming additional requirements and drive discussion with expert groups in order to find consensus on how to implement in configurators Present the solution to all stakeholders, collect, coordinate and evaluate feedback in order to continuously optimize the tools Support Go-Live of configurator as first level support Take over User Management in Snow and AEM Forms

2.  SBU Pricing

Maintenance and continuous updating of all pricing relevant information (for products and spare parts) in Master price list and SAP Support annual/biannual price increases Coordinate daily spare parts pricing

3. Sales Volume Analysis

Provide monthly reports of sales volumes, products and options sold to the Management regularly and on request Evaluate data to allow interpretation on how the market develops

4. Phase-out of Components

Drive phase-out projects for dedicated components and prepare Milestone Reviews 

What You Need to SucceedTechnical Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required Mandatory: Degree in any discipline preferably in Engineering field Minimum 2-3years working in global matrix organisation (POs, MOs, SBUs). Complex pricing globally differentiating by geography and segment. Experience in lifetime adaptations of complex product setup over multiple POs. IT skills: Excel, SAP; data base development and data modelling; JavaScript, VBA Language skills: English, fluent spoken and written; Knowledge of German desirable Self-starter with a proactive approach Very good coordinator and communicator; Analytical thinking and proactive attitude; Good eye for innovation and streamlining processes, great time management, good team player, highly motivated. Culturally sensitive and a competent listener and communicator across diverse cultures.
