HPE Financial Services - Technology Renewal Operations are at the heart of HPE’s market-leading Circular Economy strategy. We have over 20 years’ experience in the sustainable management of IT equipment. Our facilities are designed to refurbish and remarket preowned equipment. The variety of equipment is diverse, from 25-year-old legacy to current generation HPE Products and Solutions. The successful candidate will form part of a compact, agile, and adaptive engineering team working within the manufacturing operation.

The role requires an experienced, creative, and self-motivated individual who would enjoy the daily challenge of a fluid environment filled with technology and its associated challenges.  You will become involved in everything from the physical to the systemic.

The role is critical to the success of the asset management business, providing operational support, you will be directly responsible for the sustaining activities required to ensure process and product lines run unimpaired.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Direct responsibility for the sustaining activities required to ensure process and product lines run unimpairedProvides escalation support, working to ensure that the operation meets or exceeds its metricsFor sustaining activities - Identify, define, document and implement opportunities to drive process changes that would improve quality, capacity, capabilities and reduce business costsFor new product or process introduction - Participation in the definition, documentation and introduction of strong processes, process controls and quality systems in response to new opportunitiesMonitors and responds to requests for information sent to the business group mailboxIn-process audits to ensure operational complianceProduces excel based reports to track key operational metricsExecutes key processes that require engineering level resourceCollaborates and communicates with management and internal functions regarding process and standards compliance, recording and reporting issues, and recommendations for problem resolutionProvides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members

Preferred knowledge and skills required:

3+ years' experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing or service environmentDemonstrated ability to work as a team memberCompetency in Microsoft Word and Excel productsDemonstrable documentation skillsSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to solve problems within tight time-constraintsAble to work well under stress, both internally and across functions while displaying excellent time management skillProven record of out-of-hours business support and commitmentAdvantageous to have experience in Business ERP systems such as SAP or MSFT Dynamics 365
