Our Product Integration and Verification Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic senior HW Verification Engineer/Product Verification Lead. In this role you will be responsible for bringing our newest products from design to production. The Verification Lead will integrate with all functional teams across multiple locations, HW, SW, Mechanical, HW & SW Verification, Applications, Manufacturing etc. and will be responsible for the creation and execution of an efficient and effective product integration and verification plan. Amongst other things, you will use your technical skills, your ability to integrate and motivate teams, your leadership skills, your project management skills, as well as your creativity and problem-solving skills to lead the team to success, which is measured by product time to market, project cost, product quality, and customer acceptance. The Product Verification lead is also a senior member of the HW Verification organization and works closely with that team to champion and develop new test concepts, techniques, verification tools, and automation solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Providing technical expertise in either Digital, DC, Hi-Power, AC and/or RF verification by actively participating in the development of verification test concepts, detailed test plans, and custom test hardware and software solutions
+ Planning, leading, and executing the multi-discipline, multi-location, product verification aspect of new product development, from concept through production release.
+ Monitoring verification progress, collaborating with team to take proactive actions where necessary to meet objectives.
+ Integrate cross-functionally, fostering a collaborative environment, sharing successes, and building a focused motivated team.
+ Ensuring that Teradyne products meet their functional, performance, and quality requirements.
+ Reporting progress to Sr. Managers and Executives.
Qualifications and Skills
+ BSEE/BSCE required. MS is a plus.
+ Demonstrated experience in the development of Digital, DC, Hi-Power, High Precision Analog or RF test techniques and automated test solutions.
+ Full product life cycle experience from concept stage to product release. Experience with manufacturing release and customer support is a plus.
+ 5+ years of experience directly leading projects and/or teams.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills. PMP certification is a plus.
+ Ability to lead, integrate, and motivate others, setting objectives, monitoring progress, and empowering the team to be successful.
+ Strong ability to work cross-functionally, able to work with others on shared objectives and work quickly and collaboratively to solve problems and overcome challenges.
+ Strong communication skills, ability to communicate at different levels of abstraction and provide periodic updates to senior management.
Position Notes
This is a hybrid position, requiring on average 3 days/week on-site. Requirements for on-site presence may be higher during certain aspects of the project.
This position may require up to 15% travel during certain aspects of the project depending on product team locations.
