Assmblers/Machinsts | $16/hr and up depending on experience

Hours:  1st shift 6:30 am–5:00pm Monday-Thursday.  OT as needed on Fridays 

             2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday-Thursday OT on Fridays as needed

Aventure Staffing is searching for Production workers for a manufacturer of Hydraulic Cylinder in Laurens, IA. These jobs require a person to be able to read blueprints and routings to produce parts to specifications. 

Responsibilities:

Machines, welds, assembles, washes and/or paints hydraulic cylinders and/or component parts to blueprint specifications Follow manufacturing steps defined on the part routings. Report labor in labor collection system. Being mechanically inclined or have the ability to use various hand tools. Responsible for quality of produced product. Follows inspection plan and supports other operators in inspecting of their parts If required, stamps the parts produced with their individually assigned stamp When necessary, operates lift devices for movement of parts Responsible for inspection of equipment to ensure proper cleaning of equipment is maintained Responsible for preventative maintenance of all equipment Ability to read precision measuring equipment Ability to repeatedly lift, push, or pull the MAXIMUM weight (50#’s) on a routine basis Operates electric hoist or forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products Assists with training of new employees or transferred employees Responsible to maintain a clean and safe work area consistent with the Company’s housekeeping policies. Performs all work in a safety conscious manner. Be aware of dangers and take all appropriate counter measures to protect yourself and others around you

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Basic skills required as needed to utilize tape measures Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
