JOB SUMMARY The Production Analyst II is responsible for analyzing and maintaining data related to the production of natural gas. This position tracks production levels, identifies trends and patterns, and makes recommendations to optimize production processes and increase efficiency. This position ensures that all monthly production is captured and allocated correctly. This role works to achieve operational targets under general supervision. Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Typical job responsibilities of the PRODUCTION ANALYST II include: Analyze production data related to levels, rates and well performance metrics. Responsible for the accuracy of daily production data and allocations. Responsible for making improvements in processes and systems. Analyze trends in data, make recommendations and implement best practices. Communicate effectively and work to influence key stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of production accounting software. Knowledge of Railroad Commission, ONRR OGOR, and EIA-914 filings preferred. SQL skills and knowledge of ProCount database strongly preferred. Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills. Basic attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills. Basic cognitive and problem-solving skills. Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to innovate, embrace change and have grit. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 plus years' experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS This position is located at BKV’s Fort Worth, Texas office. Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment. May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.
