Key responsibilities include analyzing well tests, resolving discrepancies between run tickets and statements, and entering production data into specialized software such as P2 Merrick. Responsibilities:Analyze well test, downtime, run tickets vs statements, daily gas entries vs statements and resolve any issuesSet up and maintain new wells & equipment in production softwareDevelop, implement and maintain procedures for Production Accounting processEffectively work with Revenue Accounting and Marketing Accounting to ensure all issues or discrepancies are resolved Reconcile sales to purchaser / transporter statementsRun, verify and analyze monthly allocationsPrepare State/Federal Regulatory Reports Qualifications and Requirements:A minimum of 2 years oil & gas production accounting experienceDemonstrated ability to research, develop, and implement oil/gas production-related projects/issuesDemonstrate work experience and ability to research and reconcile discrepanciesDemonstrate work experience and knowledge in production accounting and production reportingDemonstrated work experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word Prior work experience and knowledge of ProCount/Carte software Skills/ Attributes Desired Strong mathematical and analytical skills Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines Your New OrganizationOur Oil & Gas client is one of the largest privately held independent oil and gas acquisition, development and production companies in the United States.
