Production Apprentice NOTE: This is a 6 month program with potential for full time offer. Summary: This role seeks to gain exposure and experience within production manufacturing, through on-the-job training, shadowing, and hands on learning. Scope of work includes assembly of basic parts and sub-builds in a clean, climate controlled, self-paced work environment. Principal Accountabilities: + Learning to assemble parts according to assembly procedures, process sheets, and/or other relevant documentation. + Utilization of hand tools including screwdrivers, torque drivers and assembly aids. + Learning to perform basic testing of sub-assemblies prior to final assembly. + Performs other duties as required. Minimum Requirements: + Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. + Ability to work daily within a digital environment. + Must be dependable and possess an excellent work ethic. Responsibility for Quality Procedures or Direct Product Quality: + Adheres to Universal Quality System policies and procedures. Physical Demands: + Frequently required to access and manipulate various objects and tools. + The employee may occasionally move heavy objects up to 40lbs. + The majority of the time the employee will be seated at a workstation but may need to perform their task standing at a workstation; reasonable accommodation may be offered.
