Production Area Coordinator

This position is designed to be occupied by a person who can multitask, keep up in a fast paced work environment, and has a desire to learn about composites production. Position overview:

Coordinate Production for Mixhouse, Roll Doctor, Millroom, and Second Ops

Make a weekly plan based on planned schedule engaging with STLs and PAL

Adjust schedule based on unforeseen circumstances

Work Closely with PAL to make sure schedule accommodates Towers and customer shutdowns

Work with peers to learn about the way of working as a PAC in the work cells

Participate in Continuous Improvement meetings as needed

Attend daily 9am and 3pm meeting to get production updates

Attend weekly Schedule Buy Off meeting

 

Performance objectives: 

Shippad and Intermediate Blues updated daily for delivery of products on time and in full to customers.

Participate in AITs and Projects related to the PAC roles

Learn about staffing for all WC1 departments

Work closely with shop floor to keep schedule up to date and manage conditions on the floor

Work closely with engineering to ensure task times are accurate

Take on new tasks as the position evolves.

Track schedule adherence and work with the team to identify potential improvement projects or recurring misses/successes

Qualifications and requirements: 

High School Diploma

Preferred college degree for future career advancement

1-3 years’ experience preferred

 

Desired skills: 

Effectively use ERP, LIMS, 

Immediate follow through on all assigned job tasks

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

Demonstrated ability to perform tasks independently and achieve both quality and quantity of work

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Communicate effectively with all levels: EEs, supervisors, and managers

 

You will get:

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives. 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
