**Job Title: Production Assembler**
**Job Description**
This position supports the assembly of circuit boards and small electronics. Responsibilities may include assembling touch screens, medical equipment, and circuit boards. The Assembly/Production Operator follows detailed procedures to process parts using necessary tools and equipment to meet production requirements, adhering to quality and productivity standards. **Responsibilities**
+ Safely operate drills and equipment to finish products according to specifications.
+ Use hand tools safely.
+ Communicate frequently with the team regarding concerns, discrepancies, and continuous improvement ideas.
+ Follow safe work practices at all times.
+ Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 months to 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience.
+ Experience with assembly, production, and labor processes.
+ Familiarity with work instructions, soldering, hand tools, electronic assembly, and SMT (Surface-Mount Technology).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to follow precise instructions.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Work Environment**
Work in a family-owned EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) facility that supports a variety of industries with circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and more. The environment is temperature-controlled and clean, with lab coats and shoe covers provided. Employees can expect to stand, walk, and bend throughout the day, with some lifting required (up to 30 lbs). Typical hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm to 4:00 am, totaling 40 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky.
