Production Assembler

ob Summary:

Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to meet Quality Standards

Proficient use of equipment required by the job function

Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines

Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor

Assemble equipment for final operation

Perform troubleshooting as required Explores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being done Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous production assembly experience is preferred

Ability to perform basic math (add subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers in addition to understanding fractions and decimals)

Possess basic language skills (can read/and understand written instructions)

Ability to identify and use a variety of assembly tools and methods

Possess basic/general knowledge in reading/understanding schematics Understand equipment performance requirements

Physical Requirements:

Unimpaired speech, hearing and sight (continuous)

Postural changes such as sitting, reaching, climbing, standing, walking and lifting (intermittent) Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to chest high shelving
