Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Assembler to join our team. The position involves assembly and packaging tasks using hand tools, reading blueprints (not requirement) , work instructions, and technical drawings. You will be responsible for taping boxes and counting inventory. This role requires mechanical assembly work, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble various size cases to store expensive equipment such as cameras.Add foam to each case.Assemble mid-size flashlights on the flashlight line.Lift and handle items weighing between 7-35 lbs.Read and follow blueprints and work instructions.Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly.Operate small drills, hammers, and rivet machines.Taping boxes and counting inventory.Train on using pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.Essential SkillsExperience in production, light industry, or mechanical assembly.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Mechanical assembly skills.Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in manufacturing or distribution.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our work environment is clean and organized. You will be assembling heavy-duty cases for lighting accessories, cameras, and more. Safety glasses, gloves, and an orange vest are provided. Employees must supply their own steel-toed boots. The role requires working with various tools and may involve training on pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75
