Responsibilities for this job include- Read and follow wire harness/cable assembly instructions. Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards. Perform numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions. Operate semi-automatic equipment (such as crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers). Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures. Use a soldering iron to solder wires to connectors. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products. Prioritize safety and quality throughout the assembly process. Qualifications and Skills: Previous assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. Motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent hand dexterity. Proficient in basic math skills. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Essential Job Functions: Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposes. Handle small parts. Perform pull/push motions up to 10 lbs. frequently. •Reliable transportation •Able to spell and use proper grammar, written and oral The pay for this position will start at $12.00/hr. and this position is a 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm.
