Univision is seeking a talented News Production Assistant.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Oversee all equipment including studio cameras, video and lighting equipmentSupport and troubleshoot all broadcast equipment and malfunctionsInstall and Maintain broadcast television equipment including routers, cameras, lighting. microphones, mixers and monitors.Support Live Control Room and Studio Production systemsMonitor inbound and outbound feedsTroubleshoot, maintain and report any technical issues with equipmentRespond to and resolve issues that affect news production operationsKeep quality Control reportsCamera Video Shading basicsProvide operational support related to proper operating and maintaining of all equipmentParticipate in troubleshooting with the direction of experienced technical engineers and staffAssist Manager working closely to improve workflows

YOU HAVE:

Must have at least three years experience with broadcast television studio equipment and on air live showsMust be familiar with all aspects of television productionExperience working with PC’s and server based systemsKnowledge of Routers, RTS, teleprompter, monitor and Live FeedsGood communication skillsEnhanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyWorks independentlyFlexible work hours are required, including holidays, weekends, and eveningsRemove, Lift and Replace EquipmentInstalling new equipment, pulling cables and related activitiesExperience with manual and electrical toolsBachelors Degree and previous experience in computer science or equivalent major.Some Broadcast Engineering experienceBilingual Spanish, EnglishBroadcast News ExperienceAvid editing systemsSony P70 CamerasLive UInews
