THE JOB
Reports to the Back of House (BOH) Facility & Hospitality Manager on all pre and post show efforts backstage while also coordinating with the Production Manager on advance needs from the artist camp. On show days, will work directly with the BOH Facility and Hospitality Manger and coordinate with the Production Manager for the show on any day of show needs.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
· Responsible for assisting BOH Facility & Hospitality Manager with pre and post show efforts backstage including but not limited to ensuring all rooms are clean & operational to Live Nation standards, making small necessary repairs in room where needed (or
working with Ops team on getting done), washing/folding towels, and assisting with all other responsibilities under the BOH Facility & Hospitality Manager’s purview.
· Coordinating with the Production Manager assigned to each of the shows on all pre and post show needs related to the venue backstage, including but not limited to assisting with all technical production related needs in the show advance, coordinating all artist camp shipments to venue, credentials related organization and/or distribution, errands as needed, and other show day related needs of the Production Manager.
· Perform opening/running/closing side duties according to venue policy.
· Knowledge of region to properly locate restaurants, stores, music stores, area attractions, etc.
· Maintain venue safety and sanitation standards.
· Have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times.
· Any other tasks assigned by the BOH Facility & Hospitality Manager or Production Manager
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
· One or more years’ experience in backstage production assistant or coordinator capacity
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
· Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
· Strong relationship building and communication skills
· Ability to work independently
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to tolerate fast-paced work environment, often loud and stressful
· Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and work on your feet both indoors or outdoors
· Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
· Intensely physical environment
· May be exposed to high volumes of noise
