**Job Title: Production Assistant/Metal Plater** **Job Description** This position is ideal for someone eager to learn a new manufacturing skill. The role involves plating metal materials in various chemicals through a bath process. You will review job cards to determine the specific requirements for each customer order, clean the materials, and ensure they are free of dust or dirt before processing. You will also determine the appropriate duration for the bath process based on the size and density of each piece. After completing the bath process, you will inspect the parts visually to ensure they are free of noticeable defects. **Responsibilities** + Review job cards to determine specific requirements for each customer order. + Clean materials thoroughly to remove dust and dirt before processing. + Determine the appropriate duration for the bath process based on the size and density of each piece. + Run the plating process accordingly. + Visually inspect finished parts for any defects. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of manufacturing experience. + Ability to lift 20+ lbs. + Ability to follow work instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior plating or manufacturing experience. + Ability to read blueprints. + Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers. + Masking experience. **Why Work Here?** This company is expanding, with a new building under construction to double its size. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, glasses, steel-toed shoes, aprons, and arm sleeves will be provided. The second shift hours are from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with a 10% shift differential.
