Production Associate - 1st Shift
**Job Title: Production Associate - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are looking to hire two production workers for 12-hour day shifts. One worker will be assigned to A shift and the other to C shift. The A Shift hours are from 6 am to 6 pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. The C Shift hours are from 6 am to 6 pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. The ideal candidate will have previous electronic manufacturing experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to help out in other departments. However, we are also open to entry-level candidates with a great attitude, as everyone can be trained. **Responsibilities** + Support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. + Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. + Work on assignments that are routine in nature with limited judgment required. + Follow detailed instructions on all work under close supervision. + Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks. + Sit or stand during the 10-hour shift, with standing required. + Lift no more than 10-15 lbs and meet assembly metrics. **Essential Skills** + Previous electronic manufacturing experience (either through-hole or surface mount soldering). + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Basic computer skills (navigating programs, basic Excel, and Outlook). + Great attitude and willingness to be flexible. + Ability to work cooperatively in a team and cross-functional teams. + Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards. + Good oral and written communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred. + One or more years of related experience preferred. + Adapts to changes in the work environment. + Supports improvement initiatives and participates actively to improve work environment. + Looks for opportunities to improve work productivity and efficiency. + Able to maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment. + Openly and proactively shares information, knowledge, and experience with co-workers. + Willing to take on additional assignments. **Why Work Here?** We offer exciting career progression opportunities and frequent pay increases. The hours for the 1st shift are Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm. Sometimes, additional hours are required after the shift. The training schedule for the first week will be Monday from 8:30 am to 4 pm, and Tuesday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
