Description
Purpose of the Job: The Production Operator is responsible for performing several manufacturing functions using various equipment.
Essential Functions:
Reviews and completes required paperwork for Production operationsPerforms typical production functions to include: operating equipment, moving material, verifying dimensions, and required quality inspectionsMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsMay operate a forklift if certified to do soMaintains the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and production area.Stripes and respools wire to meet customer specific requirements.Prepares products and goods for shipment. Other warehouse duties as needed.Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to learn the use of calipersAble to perform basic set-up functions on machinesAbility to read and interpret documents such as prints, production orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.Physical ability to receive and store goods and materials, including ability to lift-up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally Perks & Benefits Paid Training Weekly paychecks Medical / Dental Insurance Advancement Opportunities Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Temp to Hire 1st Shift Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Drug Test The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
