This is a temp to hire position.** **Pay Rate:** + $17.50 - $20.00 depending on experience **Hours** + 1st Shift- Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm **Overtime** : + Available – Fridays and Saturdays as business needs dictate) – Optional **Job Overview:** Adecco is looking for enthusiastic manufacturing professionals that are looking to establish a career at a great company. We are looking for people who are willing to learn and grow professionally in a fast paced production atmosphere. **Departments/Positions:** **Stitching (Sewing Operators) – Single and Double Needle** + Utilize a variety of industrial single needle, double needle, and programmable machines to stitch one of over 100 operations needed to complete the turnout gear shell or liner. + Every operator is responsible for the quality of their work and is expected to support their departmental team by learning at least two additional operations. + Conducting quality inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards. + Ability to use and understand a ruler and measurements. **Machine Operator roles (Snapping, Seam Seal, Automated Stitching, Trim, Cutting).** + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) when operating a variety of production machinery + Cutting fabric into pieces using a Gerber Cutter. + Conducting quality inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards. + Ability to use and understand a ruler and measurements. **Qualifications:** + Able to read, write and speak basic English. + Have basic knowledge of computers or tablets. + Sewing Operators must be able to sit or stand for full shift. + Non-Sewing Operators must be able to stand/walk for full shift. + Able to assist in team lifting of approximately 30 pounds. + Strong organization skills and high attention to detail. + Previous experience in Sewing, Manufacturing, Machine Operation, Assembly, Quality Control and Inspection desirable. + Willing to hire and train candidates of at all levels including entry level with no experience. **If you are interested in this position or others available, please either apply below or call Deb Biathrow@802-417-4262.** Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan.
