**Aerotek is currently hiring for a production role with an aerospace company in St. Charles! These are long-term career opportunities with potential for great benefits and compensational growth.** **Description:** **Production Associates will:** + Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathes, mills, boring machines, and grinders to machine metallic and non metallic pieces + Trim, drill, route, line up, and assemble material + Work with forming machines presses + Set up and break down production tools and production aids + Use gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment to check quality + Complete and follow work orders, set up cards, and other instructions for work processes + Perform daily maintenance on machines including: maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machine to remove coolant, and dust and debris + Check and monitor the parts that are being run + Deburr and blend all parts that are machined **Shifts Available:** **6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday** **4:00pm - 2:30am, Monday - Thursday** + Both shifts will have mandatory overtime on Fridays during the spring/summer months **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED + 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Capability to read the basic dimensions and tolerances of a blueprint + Good basic math skills + Ability to use measuring equipment + Any trade school is preferred, but not required **Experience Level:** **Intermediate Level** **About Aerotek:** We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
