Apply Today!** **Entry Level | Wages Starting At $18 | Ames, IA** **Job Description:** + This role involves operating a forklift on and off throughout the day, moving product within the facility + Moving bags of product to the mixer and adjusting machines when needed + Lifting 50 lbs bags of product into machines + Performing tasks such as digging out products and extracting from ground to places into boxes **Hard Skills:** + 6+ months of manufacturing experience + Machine operating experience + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Forklift experience preferred, but not needed **Work Environment:** + The work environment is a warehouse/manufacturing facility, which can be considered a 'dirty' environment as employees work around powder + 1st shift opportunity, working 8-9 hours per day + During the busy season (March-June), employees may have to work 10-12 hours per day + Depending on order volume, employees may be asked to come in earlier and leave the person: hours are between 5 AM and 5 PM + PPE including steel toe boots, hard hats, safety goggles, ear plugs, masks, and uniforms are provided **Benefits:** + This is a contract to hire position + Once hired on, associates earn a bonus each year based on production for the year, additionally, associates receive a $2-$3 raise depending on the role they move into + All associates (contingent and internal) earn a $2 per hour pay increase during the busy season (March - June), which is phased out at the end of the busy season + 6% 401K match + Health, dental, and vision insurance as well as health savings account options **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
