Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description

You will work in a team-based environment to ensure the efficient movement of materials in support of shift/daily schedules. Deliver timely material staging in support of production work orders and ensure accurate and timely transaction of material movements, ensuring optimal use of all team resources and tools.

ResponsibilitiesSafeguard against loss of materials and adhere to corrective action protocol for lost materials.Ensure accurate and timely transaction of material movements, ensuring optimal use of all team resources and tools.Support the continuous improvement of all related processes for materials movements, transaction execution, and inventory accuracy.Work with stakeholders to optimize processes and interactions between scheduling, floor controllers, and production floor.Adhere to all safety and quality standards established in process documentation.Pursue Best Practices with the members of the team.Ensure a safe working environment and enforce all relevant safety practices.Identify potential issues in a process; report findings to team management and participate in troubleshooting and resolution process.Ensure proactive and effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders and partners.Actively support Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S related projects and initiatives as identified by specific initiatives and charters.Participate in problem-solving teams to address problems as they arise. Actively contribute to inter-team and inter-departmental problem-solving teams.Pursue all relevant training requirements as part of a highly flexible cross-trained workforce.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentAt least two years of relevant experience in inventory management, material staging, and production scheduling.Transactional experience with ERP systemsWorking knowledge of manufacturing-related computer softwareIntermediate Excel skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsSome experience in a manufacturing-based environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Good Documentation PracticesExperience with GMP manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft based software such as MS Word and ExcelStrong collaborative skills and the ability to influence others without authorityEnergized working in a fast-paced environmentConsistent, dependable, and accurate in carrying out responsibilitiesDisplays positive attitude toward job and othersResults-oriented and data-drivenCurious, inquisitive, innovative, and never satisfied with the status quoProactive approach that anticipates needs and problems while creating solutionsExcellent documentation and communication skillsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion. First shift available with flexible start times between 5 to 8 AM, Monday through Friday.
