Production Associate
**Job Title: Production Associate** **Interviews January 2025** **1st and 2nd shift open** **$23/hr** **Job Description** Operate various production, packaging, and material handling equipment for the purposes of slitting, packaging, and shipping films. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices by cleaning production, packaging, shipping, receiving, and break areas. **Responsibilities** + Operate slitting and packaging machines/equipment. + Inspect and measure products to verify conformance to specifications. + Maintain quality records and batch files. + Ensure correct data entry in the CAT system. + Operate quality equipment/tools needed to perform necessary quality checks and record results. + Perform preventive maintenance/maintenance responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor. + Identify faulty equipment, products, and processes and inform the Supervisor immediately. + Comply with all GMP and Safety Rules and Regulations. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, packaging, and material handling. + Proficiency in operating hand tools. + Experience as a Packaging Operator or Production Operator. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General Education Degree or one-year certificate from college or technical school preferred. + One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical (4 plans available), dental, voluntary vision, and a 401k plan with employer match up to 4%. Additionally, we provide short-term disability benefits. **Work Environment** The role is within a full cleanroom environment, requiring gowning in and out. The second shift runs from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with Friday shifts ending at 8:15 PM. Mandatory overtime, if required, will typically be 1 or 2 hours. Training primarily occurs on the first shift, depending on qualifications and work ethics level. Physical demands include regularly standing, walking, handling, and reaching. The employee must frequently talk or hear, occasionally sit and climb or balance, and regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds alone and up to 220 pounds with a lift assist device. Infrequently operate a manual pallet jack with pallet weights up to 2500 lbs.
