Production Associate

Job Description:

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

The Production Associate will be responsible for assisting in multiple aspects of the trace mineral production process to ensure efficient operations and product quality. This role involves tasks such as ingredient handling, equipment setup and testing, operation of material handling equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in the production area. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and motivated by high standards of quality and performance.

Pay rate: $25/hr

Responsibilities:

– Add the appropriate ingredient and amount to the designated hand add station according to batching software instructions.
– Effectively operate bag and/or tote packaging equipment.
– Replenish ingredient delivery systems.
– Prepare sampling materials for quality control purposes.
– Operate forklift to facilitate the movement of materials required for production.
– Inspect, set up, and test equipment including scales, load cells, and magnets.

Desired Background/Skills:

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and follow instructions.
– Ability to operate packaging and material handling equipment efficiently.
– Experience in operating industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desired.
– Physically able to lift 55 lbs. on a continuous basis.
– Must be able to stand, climb steps, and walk throughout the shift.

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday through Friday from 3:00pm – 11:30pm
