Job Description
We manufacture plastic containers primarily for the automotive industry. This position involves cleaning and assembling containers once they come off the production line. Responsibilities include removing flash from parts, inserting rods for hinges, checking doors and hinges for proper functionality, and stacking containers on pallets for material handlers. The role also entails inspecting products, preparing them for assembly or shipment, recording scrap, cleaning and trimming components, and performing any required customer-added processes.
ResponsibilitiesRemove product from the machine and inspect it.Prepare products for assembly or shipment.Record scrap and place it in identified locations.Clean and trim components using tools such as scrapers, chisels, and bottle openers.Assemble components into finished parts using a hammer.Perform any required customer-added processes.Stack parts according to product guidelines and quality standards.Check product guidelines, option sheets, and special work instructions for correct assembly, cleaning, and packaging.Ensure the quality of finished components and parts.Train new employees as needed.Refer to the 1st piece sample part for a visual representation of the correct finished product.Maintain general housekeeping.Essential SkillsExperience in production, assembly, general production, inspection, and machine operation.Ability to use hand tools such as scrapers, chisels, and hammers.Experience with forklift operation and warehouse tasks.Strong attention to detail and quality standards.Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus.Additional Skills & QualificationsManufacturing experience is strongly preferred.Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a physically demanding environment.Strong soft skills such as ambition, eagerness, and a positive personality.Willingness to perform the tasks required for the role while being open to promotion opportunities.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean but can get hot as the floor is not temperature controlled. We primarily use injection molding machines and have good airflow. The dress code includes t-shirts, hoodies without strings, sweatshirts, sleeveless tops (not tank tops), jeans, shorts, cargo pants, basketball shorts, and sweatpants. Closed-toe rubber-soled shoes are required. Jewelry is not allowed, and tattoos and hair color are fine as long as they are not offensive.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00
