Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Production Associate to join our team. This position involves working in a manufacturing environment, operating various machines, and assembling parts as directed. The role requires effective communication and attention to detail, ensuring all parts meet industry standards.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate various machines such as rewind machine, bunchers dynamex, samp wire draw machine, plating line, and egr gaw.Work in cells with another individual, initially assigned to one line and cross-train based on proficiency.Monitor production equipment effectively.Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings.Communicate with Cell Lead regarding discrepancies on drawings or BOM.Inspect pieces and parts to ensure they conform to specifications and industry standards.Operate air and power tools as needed.Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gages, gage pins, and tape measures.Maintain productivity levels that match or exceed production standards.Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.Keep tools and supplies organized and maintain a clean work area daily.Collaborate closely with the Quality Control Department.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation and general production.Ability to set up machines.Understanding of production manufacturing processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsContinuous standing, moving, and reaching with arms and hands.Frequently walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing plant with a team size of 40. Employees are required to wear PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The work shifts are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with initial training on the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, depending on training needs which may last up to four weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairmont, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50
