**Job Title: Production Associate**
**Job Description**
We manufacture plastic containers primarily for the automotive industry. This position involves cleaning and assembling containers once they come off the production line. Responsibilities include removing flash from parts, inserting rods for hinges, checking doors and hinges for functionality, and stacking containers on pallets for material handlers. Additionally, you will be responsible for removing products from the machine, inspecting them, and preparing them for assembly or shipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Remove flash from parts and insert rods for hinges.
+ Check doors and hinges to ensure proper functionality.
+ Stack containers on pallets for material handlers.
+ Record scrap and place it in the identified location.
+ Clean and trim components using tools such as scrapers, chisels, and bottle openers.
+ Assemble components into finished parts using a hammer.
+ Perform any required customer-added processes.
+ Stack parts according to product guidelines and quality standards.
+ Check product guidelines, option sheets, and special work instructions for proper assembly, cleaning, and packaging.
+ Train new employees as needed.
+ Refer to the first piece sample part for a visual representation of the correct finished product for the order.
+ Maintain general housekeeping.

**Work Environment**
The work floor is not temperature-controlled and can get hot despite good airflow. The environment is clean, and steel toes are not required. Dress code includes t-shirts, hoodies without strings, sweatshirts, sleeveless tops (not tank tops), jeans, shorts, cargo pants, basketball shorts, and sweatpants. Closed-toe rubber sole shoes are required. No jewelry is allowed, including rings, watches, piercings, necklaces, and bracelets. Tattoos and hair color are acceptable as long as they are not offensive. Any offensive items will be addressed immediately.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
