Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to support our manufacturing processes. The role includes maintaining flour dusters, handling rework, moving materials, assisting equipment operators, and performing detailed cleaning and sanitation. You will input and track production, safety, and quality data, and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations. The role also involves inspecting packaged goods, ensuring food safety and quality, and reporting any issues.
ResponsibilitiesKeep flour dusters full and handle rework.Lift up to 50 lbs.Assemble and move materials as needed.Assist equipment operators to meet targets.Input and track production, safety, and quality data.Perform detailed cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment.Load and unload products from the production line.Ensure daily adherence to GMP, PPE, SOP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.Inspect packaged finished goods and ingredients.Maintain the integrity and certification of the food safety and quality system.Report and prevent food safety and quality issues.Evaluate hazards and ensure a safe work environment.Operate equipment controls, flour system, and blender recipe system.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in production, general labor, assembly, and general production.Ability to assist machine operators.Ability to read work orders.Capability to load raw ingredients and unload final products.Proficiency in basic math calculations.Experience in machine operation and forklift use.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Mathematical skills: ability to compute whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, rate, ratio, percent, and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning ability: apply commonsense understanding to instructions in various forms and solve problems with concrete variables.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train others.Proficiency in reading work documents in English.Strong focus on safety.Good understanding of plant quality requirements and GMPs.Strong attendance and work history.Strong team mentality.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work involves daily and frequent exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, odors, poor lighting, noise, and vibration. There is seasonal exposure to weather elements, including extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity. The environment involves physical risks and hazards, such as mechanical, chemical, electrical, fire, and explosive hazards, as well as communicable diseases. The position requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., fine dexterity, and daily reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting. PPE, including bump caps, safety glasses, goggles, gloves, ear plugs, lockout devices, and fall protection, will be provided. The role involves time pressures, task changes, multitasking, irregular schedules or overtime, and working closely with a team in a noisy and sometimes distracting environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
