**Job Title: Production Associate**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. The position involves working in cells with another individual and being assigned to one line, with cross-training based on proficiency. The shift for this role is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by the Cell Lead.
+ Effectively monitor production equipment.
+ Read and understand bills of materials and blueprints of drawings.
+ Communicate with the Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawings or BOM.
+ Inspect pieces/parts to ensure they conform to specifications and industry standards.
+ Operate air and power tools as needed.
+ Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, gauge pins, and tape measures.
+ Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards.
+ Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
+ Keep tools and supplies in the appropriate location daily and maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Work closely with the Quality Control Department.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Work Environment**
The plant size is 40 employees. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required. The work environment involves standing, moving, and reaching continuously, frequently walking, bending, lifting, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairmont, North Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
