**Production Associate | Montgomery, IL** **1st & 2nd Shift Available $20+** **Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Associate to join our team at a facility in Montgomery, IL. This facility manufactures a variety of plastic compounds used in multiple industries such as thermoplastics, custom compounds, plastic adhesives, and bioplastics. Their products are found in home/consumer goods, automotive industries, and more. The typical day will include loading and unloading bags of product, palletizing, and occasionally operating a sit down forklift. 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) are available. If interested in this position, then please apply and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out within 24-48 hours. **Responsibilities** + Follow packaging instructions to properly complete a pack out + Assist with warehouse, production, and rail yard sanitation + Inspect product to identify and remove contaminations + Assist with floor loads and other restacking projects + Assist with work orders for repacks (box to bag, box to box, super sack to box) + Assist with railcar/container hook-ups + Assist with box/super sack to bulk truck repacks + Assist with the recycling program, including gathering and baling of corrugated cardboard, liners, super sacks, etc. + May unload/load materials with a sit-down forklift + Must be able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in production, heavy lifting, and general labor + Experience in a fast-paced environment + Ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly **Work Environment** Our facility is large and team-oriented, with groups of 5-10 people working together. The environment is extremely fast-paced, loud, and can be dirty depending on the specific area of the facility. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
