**Production 1st and 3rd $20/21 an hour** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Phoenix Clerk to manage the movement of materials within our plant, including flake, pellet, or bales. The role involves documentation of incoming and outgoing products, utilizing pallet jacks and lifts, and employing computer-based systems to monitor, document, and track production. This position also includes quality checks, mechanical tasks, and cross-training throughout the facility. **Responsibilities** + Move materials within the plant, including flake, pellet, or bales. + Document incoming and outgoing products on the floor. + Use pallet jacks and lifts to move products around. + Operate computer-based systems to monitor, document, and track production. + Load and unload rail cars as needed. + Walk up and down stairs around machinery to ensure accuracy (up to 40 feet in the air). + Conduct quality checks on production lines, including obtaining numbers, temperature readings, and monitoring. + Participate in cross-training throughout the facility. + Utilize mechanical abilities, including hand and power tools if required. **Essential Skills** + **Must have previous forklift usage** (training provided on site). + Experience in material handling, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + **Must have 3+ years job tenure at one company.** + Proficiency in computer usage, including Excel, Word, and emails. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift training/certification. + Experience in material handling. + Experience with plastics. **Why Work Here?** We offer a $1 premium for night shift work and numerous growth opportunities within the company. The facility is a food-grade pellet plant, with some areas being dusty and noisy. We provide safety sleeves and shirts if needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bowling Green, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
