Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The ideal candidate has previous electronic manufacturing experience, either through-hole or surface mount soldering, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Flexibility to help out in other departments and a positive attitude are essential. Entry-level candidates from retail, fast food/food services, and other manufacturing fields are encouraged to apply.

ResponsibilitiesSupport production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines.Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging.Adhere to production standards and goals.Receive detailed instructions on all work and work under close supervision.Operate within established policies and procedures and seek approval for deviations.Lift no more than 10-15 lbs. and meet metrics for assembly tasks.Sit or stand during the 10-hour shift, with standing required part of the time.

ShiftsDay and night shifts available (night shifts pay $17.60 including shift differential)

Essential SkillsBasic computer skills including navigation, basic Excel, and Outlook.Great attitude and willingness to be flexible.Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.Competent in using hand tools and reading blueprints.Strong oral and written communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to perform routine tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsA High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment.Willingness to take on additional assignments.Up-to-date on all certifications and training requirements for the role.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work setting consists of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level. The A Shift runs from 6:00am to 6:00pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with the possibility of working a fifth 8-hour shift when production quotas need to be met (most likely on Thursday). The first week follows a training schedule of Monday 8:30am - 4:00pm and Tuesday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Up to 56 hours each week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
