**Production Associate** **Pay: $21/Hour** **Shift: 7AM-3:30PM** **Location: Kent, WA** **Job Description** Candidates considered for the production openings will be required to construct various wooden pallets, crates, and storage units that are used by shipping and manufacturing clients in the area. Candidates will need to have strong math skills and the ability to read and use a tape measure. **Responsibilities** + Construct various wooden pallets, crates, and storage units for shipping and manufacturing clients. + Work in various workstations either cutting lumber with band saws, table saws, or circular saws. + Use heavy nail guns that shoot 2-inch nails for assembly. + Read and use a tape measure accurately. + Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring physical strength such as picking up, lifting, bending, and stacking lumber and other materials. **Essential Skills** + Strong math skills. + Ability to read and use a tape measure. + Mechanically inclined. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous use of heavy nail guns, pneumatic drills, and saws preferred. + Strong work ethic and positive attitude. + Experience with tape measures and production assembly. **Why Work Here?** Join a team where your strong work ethic and positive attitude can lead to more opportunities, including overtime. The facility is divided into several work stations surrounded by lumber. Be prepared to work in hot and cold conditions depending on the outside temperature. You may work alone or in small teams of 2-3 associates. Team lifting is applied to anything too heavy to lift alone. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
