Job Title: Production Associate

Weekly Pay || $18 an hour || Louisville, KY

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and transporting steel materials, aluminum ingots, and other heavy loads within a steel plant. Our equipment ranges from 6 tons to 60 tons, so experience with operating forklifts and managing heavy and sometimes challenging loads is essential.

ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to transport heavy steel materials and aluminum ingots.Handle and move loads that vary in length and size within the warehouse.Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Essential SkillsExperience in forklift operation.Ability to transport heavy and cumbersome loads.Familiarity with steel plant operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in steel processing or steel manufacturing is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-climate-controlled warehouse. We currently have about 14 employees. The hours are as follows: 1st shift - 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday; 2nd shift - 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday; 3rd shift - 11 pm to 7:30 am, Sunday - Thursday. The dress code includes long pants, long sleeves, a hard hat, and steel-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr.
