Production Associate
**Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the load-out plant area, operating bagging equipment, and assisting other production personnel. You will also perform quality testing, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate loading of trucks with bagged material. **Responsibilities** + Perform general clean up and keep the load-out plant area free of material and debris. + Empty trash cans weekly from the office and plant area. + Assist other production personnel in cleaning various areas of the plant. + Operate bagging equipment to bag and palletize material. + Perform pre start-up checks of equipment and complete necessary forms or inspections associated with the bagging operation. + Load trucks with bagged material ensuring the product matches the material on each truck and pallets are placed carefully. + Operate forklifts and fill out mobile equipment logs daily. + Complete quality testing and accurately log all analyses on the respective pick slips. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, general labor, and packaging. + Ability to operate bagging systems and forklifts. + Capability to perform inspection and quality testing. + Experience with handling and palletizing 100-150lb bags. + Proficient in using stretch wrap and heat guns. **Why Work Here?** Offering a competitive wage. In this facility employees may need to shovel, use a skid steer, and handle raw materials like coal slag. The job involves physical tasks such as throwing bags and stacking by hand. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pawnee, Il.Pro **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
