Production Associate I
The expected salary range for this position is $16.75 - $20.06. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. This entry-level associate assists with elements of quality production in print, finishing, and inserting of Compassion materials. This incumbent assembles trip books, sponsorship packets, brochures, mailings, and letters with accuracy and timeliness in support of Compassion's marketing and communication efforts. At this entry level, the incumbent is still learning how to operate various machines, tools, and computer applications required for production assignments according to his or her assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.Assists with a variety of production duties in print, finishing, and inserting as directed. Performs manual fulfillment to ensure effective, accurate, and timely processing of components and some finished products as a part of the Compassion distribution center production process. Regularly performs manual fulfillment for jobs that cannot be processed on automated inserting equipment.Follows daily production assignments including, setup and simple operation of production equipment (including digital presses, production printers, high-speed inserters, programmable cutters, folders, creasers/perforators, booklet converting, punches, book binding and laminators.)Monitors supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and restocking supplies once received.Supports a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Adheres to process and procedure documentation within the scope of daily work assigned.Participates in team discussions on work processes and issues.This incumbent often provides some general administrative support.
