Through our Give Back program, we own our commitment to Social Responsibility and live our purpose of Packaging a Better Future. **Responsibilities** **Job purpose** The Dry End Operator-Stacker role is responsible for facilitating the movement of scrap from the oven area to the stock prep area. **Duties and responsibilities** The primary job duties and responsibilities are: + Follow all documented procedures for the position. + Captures scrap in the oven area to move it to the stock prep area to assist in the management of scrap levels. + Assist the Line 6 Operator by moving pallets to the line, moving finished goods to the warehouse, and restocking boxes at the end of the line. + Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area. + Place empty hoppers at the oven exit for machine start-up. + Empty trash cans as required. + Back fills Material Handler position, as needed. + Maintains effective communication with other operators and plant supervision. + Informs Natural Team Leaders and/or Production Supervisor of any problems. + Maintains excellent safety record. + Maintains excellent attendance record. + Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Experience** Experience required: + At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards. + Demonstrated record of proficiency in forklift operation and safety. + Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures. **Skills** An individual must have the following skills in the Dry End Operator-Stacker position: + Ability to work safely and to communicate with others in a professional manner. + Demonstrated ability sufficient to determine product quality, for example, carton malformations, color verification, and structural integrity. + Demonstrated hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for product handling. **Physical requirements** This position is located in a manufacturing location.
