Work Location & Shifts: 210 Haleyville Industrial Rd, Haleyville, AL 35565

1st Shift: Varies depending on position but generally.

M-Th (5:00am – 3:30pm); Fridays until 1:30

2nd Shift: M-Th (3:00pm – 1:30am); Fridays until 11:30pm

Pay: $18.00 per hour or more depending on shift and position.

Overview

Production Associates are responsible for creating quality products for our customers. They are central to our operations and our success.

What you will need:

Preferably one year experience in manufacturing settingHS Diploma or GED preferredAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

What you will do:

Operate machinery required for particular position in a safe and efficient manner, to include training of new and existing operators in the carrying out of their duties.Inspect product for defects and take appropriate action as per work instructions, monitor Quality Technician for consistencyCarry out measurements and weight checksAssemble product as per instructions with a focus on quality and safety.Practice Masonite Lean Manufacturing Techniques including 5S+1Communicate efficiently with other employees and the leadership team in order to ensure quality product is made timely.Read and interpret list counts and complete all departmental paperwork correctly and timelyPerform weekly EHS auditsParticipate in Safety Kaizens and Haleyville Masonite Plant KaizensHelp create/implement poke yokes for quality issuesRead, understand, and follow production schedules.Set up and adjust equipmentGather materials as neededOperate motorized equipment (ie forklift, KVAL lifts, etc) as needed.Perform minor preventative maintenance and operator care as requiredAssist Management, Maintenance and Quality personnel when troubleshooting equipment, process, or material issues.Communicate effectively for flow of product through the plantMaintain downtime records and production information as appropriatePerform housekeeping dutiesPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedWear appropriate personal protective equipmentWork safely and follow safety rules and procedures
