The role we are proposing:

Plan, coordinate and direct the readiness of human and material resources while meeting delivery deadlines, ensuring product quality, and delivering the highest level of customer service.Monitor work costs, status and quality and come up with appropriate solutions to problems.Manage employees and take any necessary disciplinary action in accordance with the collective agreement and human resources policies.Set objectives and evaluate performance.Lead improvement projects within the department.Develop, implement and enforce policies, standards and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, health, safety and profitability.Coordinate a multidisciplinary team: define, manage and coordinate activities related to projects and to the development of CAE products.

The ideal candidate:

A college degree in a related field and at least 5 years experience, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.Able to motivate and engage employees in a production environment.Has good experience applying Lean principles.Able to manage with a health and safety mindset.Has good human resource management skills in an unionized environment: ability to set up and motivate a team and develop good relationships with internal and external customers.Bilingual (French and English).Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
