As a Production Class II operator you will be assigned to and be responsible for job tasks within the Syrup/Sauce/Dressing Processing and Packaging Departments in our St. Elmo, Illinois facility reporting to the Team Leader. You will need to train and understand the job responsibilities to perform them.
You must be familiar and able to monitor and operate the equipment required for the position assigned and complete any required checks and paperwork.
Lifting requirements may include lifting of up to 50 pounds. For some positions, operation of a forklift and able to maintain a forklift operator’s license is required.
You Will:
·Comply with all company policies concerning safety, quality, and productivity
·Supply all lines with raw materials, cartons, bottles, ingredients and any miscellaneous operating supplies
·Ensure proper FIFO (first in first out) rotation of materials
·Equipment changeovers
·Maintain general housekeeping in all Syrup/Sauce/Dressing processing/packaging areas, ensuring a neat and organized work area
·Relieve, and cover positions assigned by team leader
·Monitor, operate, and complete the required checks and paperwork
·Complete all job responsibilities of assigned position, including taking out trash, and any sanitation requested by the team leader
·Work well with others and contribute to a Team Environment
·Perform other tasks incidental to the job as assigned by the Team leader
You Have:
·High School diploma or equivalent required. You will read, write, keep accurate and legible paperwork, and enter data into computer relative to the job requirements. You will work in a team environment. 1+ years of experience in trouble shooting and mechanical aptitude is desired. Must understand position is important to the success of achieving production demands and the success of the company. You must be willing to work overtime when required.
