**Job Title: Production Clerk** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Clerk for our facility in Eldridge, Iowa. The Production Clerk will be responsible for developing, creating, modifying, and managing production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. The role also involves closely monitoring the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time. **Responsibilities** + Plan and establish production orders for various manufacturing departments involving diversified piece parts, assemblies, or tooling in accordance with master production schedules. + Ensure proper allocation to work centers, load, capacity, and efficient utilization of equipment, including forecast planning. + Monitor and track material inventories, production progress, and other factors affecting schedules. + Modify and adapt production orders and schedules; issue order changes to accommodate revisions, cancellations, or priorities. + Interface with all relevant departments and staff for schedule creation, progress updates, problem analysis, and corrective action recommendations. + Prepare all required reports, paperwork, and correspondence. + Develop job packets in alignment with production needs. + Update production orders to report current status. + Monitor and update production material safety stock, reorder points, and minimum/maximum production amounts. + Work with other departments to monitor and update bills of materials and routings for production material. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inventory management, data entry, production, and administrative assistance. + Preferred: 2 years of experience in a related field. + Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software. + Experience with administrative support, bills of lading, shipping and receiving. + Proficiency in SAP. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of production line processes. + Experience as a shipping/receiving clerk. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a clean, well-lit work environment with discounts on guns after joining the company.
