JOB SUMMARY

The Production Control and MRB Coordinator will utilize the ERP system to complete various system-based transactions and other responsibilities as directed.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions

Process work orders based on MRP outputs.Utilize ZOLL’s business system to generate/complete work orders in accordance with an established/approved production schedule and in compliance with established procedures.Close work order for Outside Sourcing Procedures (OSP) in the ERP system.Perform scrap / work order control transactions in Oracle.Assist with the oversight of manufacturing’s compliance with the production schedule and may adjust schedule based on inputs from production and the deletion of forecasted product once built.Provide scheduling information to customer service in support of backlog management and lead-time communication.Interface with the ZOLL shipping departments to support the completion of shipment related paperwork.Support the efficient operation of the manufacturing process by having all required labels prepared in a timely, accurate manner.Utilize ROBAR system to print required labels checking accuracy, readability and compliance with all existing specification prior to issuance.Review production schedule to determine projected label usage and utilizes Agile to ensure the correct revision of the labels are being used.Maintain label production area in clean, orderly manner and operates all equipment in a safe manner.As the primary associate involved in MRB activities; reviews rejected materials, coordinates the disposition of the materials and determine where said materials are to be held and released for scrap.Provide management with timely, accurate reports concerning the status of MRB materials and maintains an accurate inventory recording the disposition of all material held in the MRB area.Promote continuous improvement of the MRB process by monitoring and reporting on DMR disposition activities.Schedule and conduct meetings with key personnel to review outstanding DMR’s and MRB metrics. Prepare and submit metrics for review in accordance with management’s defined schedules.Report any safety issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.Comply with all policies and standards.Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.

QUALIFICATIONS

Any similar combination of Education & Experience is acceptable.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalency is preferred

Work Experience

1-3 years Experience/exposure to label production software is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated experience/expertise in the use of an ERP inventory control systems.Demonstrated ability to learn and use label production software is required.Computer proficiency.Able to effectively problem solve.Customer Service – Is dependable and consistently meets deadlines and commitments.Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification.Follows instructions, responds effectively and efficiently to leadership direction.Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures.Quality Management - Seeks ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
