General Summary
J&J Worldwide is seeking a Production Control Clerk to join our team in Kings Point, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for compiling and recording production data to compare records and reports on production volume, material consumption, quality control, and other key aspects of the production process, utilizing Maximo. This role will also include preparing detailed planning and control instructions for the maintenance and repair of tactical HVAC equipment and associated components.
The Production Control Clerk will leverage their knowledge in the tactical equipment maintenance field, using reference sources to ensure efficient processing of commodities, supplies, and equipment. Additionally, they will be involved in determining material and parts requirements, ensuring timely availability of resources to avoid work stoppage, reviewing and prioritizing work requests, and overseeing shipping documents and material releases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
High School Diploma required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or maintenance environment. Experience with Maximo or similar production control software is highly preferred. Strong understanding of tactical equipment maintenance and repair processes. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
