Production Control Clerk - (IDA)

Job Title: Production Control Clerk (IDA)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Production Control Clerk (PCC) in Alexandria, VA.  This position will Perform office management and clerical support at the IDA sites in Alexandria, VA & Washington DC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compiles and records production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, etc. May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker sheets. Additional tasks include: writing production reports, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products. Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities; compiles material inventory records. Prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts. Sorts and distributes work tickets. Oversee subcontractor management to include submittal of subcontract agreements, PO issuance, PO receipt/payment, and collection of reports. Oversee CMMS work order system to ensure that staff are properly trained and use system appropriately.  Work with vendors and contractors as required to ensure that system functions properly. Work with Microsoft Office Suite to produce professional and accurate documents as needed. Prepare correspondence, reports, letters, spreadsheets, and other documents for the Project Manager. Process inquiries regarding site operations and functions.  Prepare reports, statistics, and other information related to the operation of the contract. Ensure invoicing to the client is accurate and timely. Schedule and participate in meetings and conferences.  Prepares meeting minutes and agendas and distribute as required. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the budget and forecasts for the contract.  Develop financial reports to determine monthly spend and income versus budget. Ensures that staff attendance and leave is properly administered, tracked, and accounted for. Work with the Accounting Department to ensure that invoices, receipts, and other vendor-related documentation is accurate and timely. Perform other tasks as directed by his Supervisor.

 

Qualifications: 

Four (4) or more years experience in Office Management and/or Clerical Support. Experience with MS Office, CMMS, and financial systems
