Position Purpose
To ensure efficient scheduling of production, material, people, and equipment to produce and deliver quality cartons. Manage inventory flow throughout the manufacturing operation. Evaluate department processes for lean opportunities.
Job Funtions
Maintain and control plant finished goods and raw material inventories Interacts with Customer Service and Sales regarding incoming orders Supervises Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, Production Scheduler, Warehouse, and new business Manages Sub-contracts Tracks metrics weekly to ensure system is in balance WIP/FG Inventory Backlog by customer Backlog % current Communicates with Plant Manager regarding the necessary equipment and materials to run product Works with Sales and Estimating to identify loading optimization opportunities. Reduce converting costs Create capacity for targeted growth and new business opportunities Resolves customers issues with scheduling Insures production schedule meets customer shipment needs. Maintains Corporate goals of NLF, COV, and Safety Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork
Job Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field, preferred 3-5 years experience in a folding carton plant, or equivalent experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to lead and direct others Proficient with MicroSoft Office

This role is incentive plan eligible. Additional information will be shared during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, past experience, job duties, geography, and business need, among other things.
Pay Range: $84,170.00 - $112,195.00
