PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (CONSTRUCTION)
Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTOLLER (CONSTRUCTION) in the Public Works Directorate of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will lead the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and PowerPoint presentations relating to trending data (analysis), workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics. You will input data into business applications (i.e., MAXIMO, MS Project, etc.) via microcomputer to insure proper financial cost accounting, proper job status and location, scheduling and Product Line workload, and timely closure upon completion. You will monitor all phases of work execution for Work Authorizations. You will develop new methods and technologies for the various reporting mediums used to check, facility alteration and repair (FAR) and recurring job packages. You will monitor all Job Order Numbers and Recurring Packages to ensure they are correct and funded properly. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To Qualified for GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Tracking and monitoring customer facility maintenance requests for new, amended, or deleted work in business applications (i.e., MAXIMO, MS Project, etc.); 2) Performing cost accounting and work order tracking to support maintenance operations; 3) Monitoring all job order numbers and recurring packages to ensure they are correct and funded properly; and 4) Assisting with the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and power point presentations relating to trending data (analysis), workload balancing, response standards, and metrics.
