Production Controls Manager

The Production Controls Manager is a full-time, on-site person who report directly to the Program Manager. The Production Controls Manager is responsible for planning and scheduling all vendor services, corrective and preventative maintenances tasks, and developing estimates and schedules for light construction projects. The goal is to maximize the efficiency of site personnel, vendors, and subcontractor support. The production controls manager will develop weekly and monthly schedules to efficiently complete work within contractual timelines.
**Responsibilities**
+ This position is a full-time on-site position. The individual will work inFMXscheduling system, creating, editing, generating, and scheduling preventive maintenance tasks for technicians.
+ Ensures parts and tools required for PM work Orders are available when work is scheduled.
+ Develop a Monthly and Weekly master schedule that coordinates all vendor support, light construction projects, preventative and corrective maintenance work orders. The master scheduler will ensure all materials, tools and other resources are available for the completion of scheduled work.
+ Develop estimates for light construction projects. The master scheduler will review the current production schedule to determine the most effective way to complete the work (in-house labor or vendor support) and identify specialty services, materials and equipment required.
+ Develop procurement packages for specialty services, materials, and equipment, works closely with the PM to evaluate and optimize the skilled trades labor on the contract and to recommend adjustments to the skill mix.
+ Develop project plans, WBS, Utilize scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Vizio, etc). Track all construction projects through completion and provides status updates to the project manager and government COR.
+ Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong customer service skill and able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
+ Proven leadership abilities.
**Qualifications**
+ Computer experience, Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email.
+ High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, facilities management or related field preferred.
+ Five years of experience in business analytics, scheduling, and project management.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Experience managing and utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) specific experience with **FMX** experience preferred
