National Hospitality Company Hiring **Line Cooks** for a 2nd Shift Monday - Friday Opportunity in Midtown Manhattan. _APPLY TODAY_ & A Recruiter Will Call with More Information **Shift:** 2nd Shift -Monday -Wednesday (12:30pm-9pm), Thursday (11:30am-8pm)/ Friday (7am-3:30pm) **Pay:** $23.50 for Line Cook **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Operation of large catering equipment such as a tilt skillet and Rational Combination Oven Preparing specific food items and meal components for large groups of 800+ people daily Following directions provided by the head chef. Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service. Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary. Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback. Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required. **Requirements:** Past experience working with large batch cooking in commissary kitchen environments **Operating catering-type cooking equipment including a Tilt Skillet, Steam Tray, and Rational oven** Ability to work well in a team. Excellent listening and communication skills. Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation. Passion for delivering great food and service. Multitasking and organizational ability.
